Located around the Pavilion so that we can share our common interest in fly fishing and conservation, tell fly fishing stories, discuss great ideas, make new friends and just enjoy the day!

  • 9:30 AM           Used Equipment Sale

Too much gear? Time to clean out the “stash”? Bring your used, excess or no longer fished fly gear & find it a new home. Get cash to buy more gear! Let your used gear help someone else get         started!

Used Equipment Sale Closes at 4:15 PM. Pick up your check or your sale item(s) at 4:15 PM. 10% of each item’s sale price up to a maximum of $10 per item goes to the Chesapeake Council’s Education Program. The 10% is tax deductible and a receipt will be provided.

Dry Fly Fishing

Learn the techniques for the most challenging dry fly fishing. Special attention on those skills that will increase your ability to catch wary trout including fly selection, drift and mends. Instructor: Phil Gay, MCI – Class on the grass & on the water

Bass Fly Fishing

Learn the techniques for catching Bass on the fly including casting with weighted lines and flies, and kayak fishing                                                                                                               Instructor:  David Cleaves, MCI – Class on the grass & on the water

Saltwater Fly Fishing

Steelhead Fly Fishing

Discuss the upgraded CI Exam with new CI’s and experienced MCI’s to help you understand and prepare to take the FFI Certified Casting Instructor Exam                                            Instructors: David Clease, MCI & Phil Gay, MCI – Class on the grass and on the water

Beer Tie at Coakley’s Pub in Havre de Grace, MD at 6:00 PM

This is a chance to socialize, eat and drink in the comfort of an Irish Pub while tying flies and talking fly fishing. Dinner and drinks on your own; good food and reasonable prices. Bring your vise, lamp, materials and tools.
